This is the Black Magic Technique. We had so much fun creating one-of-a-kind cards. We used the Water Color Trio Stamp set, basic black card stock, white craft ink, colored pencils/watercolor pencils and Stampin' Up's awesome white gel pen.
The card on the left also uses French Script background stamp.
Add the embossing folder Dots for the background of the card and it really pops.
If you would like to make these cards and learn the black magic technique, please contact me and I would be happy to set up a day or night when we could get together and stamp.
The second technique we learned was kissing. Well, we are all good kissers by now, but when it comes to stamping, this technique gets left out all too often. Like with the butterflies from the technique book we made, we pressed two stamps together to exchange ink, take off ink or transfer ink onto a solid stamp surface. The ice cream scoops show the three different kissing techniques: plain kissing, two- time kissing and kissing off! This was so much fun to do and so easy! Change up the background oval and ribbon to Bashful Blue and you have a great card for a boy. This card was cased from Lori Rider.
Contact me anytime to set up your own class- private or a small group of friends. I do parties too! You provide the food and beverages and I will provide the fun. Stampin' Up parties make great Girls Nights Out, Craft Nights and birthday celebrations. Prices range from free to $5, $10 and $15 per person depending on how many projects and what types you want to do.
