Retirement Stamp-a-Stack

Say "Goodbye" to these stamp sets. They will no longer be available after June 30th! They happen to be three of my favorite ones and I will be sad to see them go, but will definitely use them again and again.

These cards are the ones we are making at the Stamp-a-Stack this month. Each participant will make 3 of each card and decorate their envelopes to match. The cards can be made for any occasion by simply choosing from a wide variety of greeting and inside verses. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

June's Christmas Card

Here is the Christmas card we are making tonight at our monthly Christmas Card Class.
It uses many retiring items: the stamp set Snow Burst, Pacific Point, Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze ink and card stock along with kiwi kiss/vanilla satin ribbon. These items will no longer be sold after June 30th.

After stamping randomly on whisper white cardstock, I coated the whole piece with VersaMark ink. Then I sprinkled Irredescent Ice Embossing Powder over the whole thing. I melted it with my heat gun and matted it with strips of coordinating cardstock. (Great way of using up those scraps) Wrap a ribbon around it and adhere it to the card base. Add a greeting and you're done! Simple, but pretty!

Picnic Punch Art Class

"The ants go marching one by one,..." We had so much fun creating these 4 cards. They can also be used for a scrapbook page either as hidden journaling or as the embellishment of the layout. We sure will miss that retired tag punch! It was use for the lemonade glass and the hot dog bun as well as the greeting on the ant card.
Come on out for July's Punch Class where you can make either 4 cards (2 of 2 designs) for $10 or 2- double page 12x12 layouts for $15. The theme is Summer Fun (sandcastle, crab and ladybugs). I'll try posting the photos soon!

These were made for my son's wedding and rehearsal dinner. The Graduation ones were done for a friend's daughter. These stamp sets are retired now, but still very loved!

Quilt Card

My first attempt at a quilt card. I love the SU embossing (textured) plates for that quilted look!
