Snowman Meet Core-dinations

This snowman punch art is easy but the back ground is even easier!  I used Stampin' Up!s new Core-dinations card stock in Early Espresso.  I ran it through the Northern Flurries Embossing Folder and lightly sanded it with our new sanding block.  Snowman uses 1 1/4" and 1 3/4" circle punches. Add arms made from the snowflake punch, a bit of ribbon and a greeting with the label punch and you are all done in a flash.  We made one of these cards, the triple time flower card and the Googly Ghouls card at our August Stamping Clubs. Consider joining us one month on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday!

Packaging Cards for Giving

Here is one way I package my cards for gift giving. It is the easiest way besides bagging them that I have found.  I requires no extra card stock or a template.
I get paper pocket folders from the office supply store (I prefer black or white) and cut the top off by a few inches.  I score an inch above the pocket and snip out small Vs along the spine and left and right edges.  I fold down the flap so it will hold the contents securely in the pockets.

I add a ribbon to tie it all together and embellish the front to match the stationary inside.  I also add my card for possible future orders.

Easy Monogrammed Note Cards

Elegant, personal and not over the top... these quick note cards are the perfect gift for any lady.  Make them in her favorite color(s) or create a variety pack using all the colors of the's so simple.

I used almost all of my embossing folders and mass produced whisper white backgrounds ( 4 x 5 1/4") to adhere to the coordinating card base. Using the same colored card stock, I punched out a scallop circle and adhered that using a Stampin' Dimensional (the perfect height and size for mailing- not too high or puffy). I stamped the initial of the recipient on whisper white card stock using the coordinating ink or black Stazon and punched that out using the circle punch that fits into my scallop.  (We sell various sizes of scalloped circles and regular circles, so use what you have!)
Stamp the envelopes in coordinating colors and you have a wonderful, quick and easy gift for any occasion. Check back tomorrow for the folder I created to present these gifts in!

Two by Two

I love Noah's Ark, so I immediately fell in love with "Two by Two" from Stampin' Up!  These all-purpose note cards are meant for a baby boy's family but can easily be made generic in gender or into little girl cards by changing the colors and paper.

I sponged the back ground on the stamped image with Bashful Blue ink and a scallop circle to create clouds.  Then I sponged Marina Mist on the bottom to create the sea water.  I colored the ark and animals in using Stampin' Write Markers in various colors like: Going Gray, Soft Suede, Chocolate Chip, Creamy Caramel, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Sahara Sand and Bashful Blue.

The image is matted with Island Indigo card stock and placed on a Whisper White card that has been embossed with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.  World Spectacular DSP was cut into various widths and adhered to card base.  Pumpkin Pie wide grosgrain ribbon was adhered to cover the seam.  I don't like naked envelopes, so I simply stamped the image using Stazon Black to the front of the envelope.

Masculine Birthday Card

Finally, a masculine card! This one uses the Pennant Parade stamp set and the Pennant Builder Punch that coordinates so perfectly with it.  You can add any birthday sentiment to the label since it is a generous size.  I used the new Stampin' Up Framelits (Apothecary) for the tag, a couple vintage brads, my favorite embossing folder (Square Lattice), along with the stamp set and punch.  Colors are: Midnight Muse, Gumball Green, Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White.

Romance and Flowers

I love anything girly!  Victorian, feminine, flowery and full of ribbon and lace.... So when I saw this stamp set (Apothecary Art), I knew I had to have it. It coordinates with the Stampin' Up! Labels Framelits.  I also used the Top Note Die for the background.  The bottom is cut using Stampin' Up's Adorning Edgelits and embossing folders that coordinate to create that elegant raised edge.  Add some pleated ribbon, a little color using aqua painters, a tiny button and some Stampin' Up Dazzling Diamonds and you have a gorgeous, girly birthday card.

Tea Cup Vintage Card

Tea Shoppe Stamp Set and Comfort Cafe

I love this stamp set.  It's all about tea and friendship. I used Comfort Cafe DSP for some of the cards while other cards have retired paper. Any small printed pattern would work. Choose a coordinating color for the large tea cup stamp and you are set.

I used a 1/2" piece of chocolate chip cardstock for the shelf and folded a half of a doily over one side.  Adhered the tea cup with stampin' dimensionals and added a little sponging to distress it.  This card features a Twillings tea bag in it. (Use 2 dimensionals stacked on top of each other to make a larger pocket for the tea bag).  The sentiment is punch out with a 3/4" circle and placed right over the Twillings tea bag tag.

It's hard to see in the photo, but there is steam coming up from the tea cup in these 3 cards.  The Scribble Swirls are a retired Sizzix die made out of cardstock vellum.  I love the blue one!  Happy Stamping!

Summer Scrapbook Page

Here is a 6 x 6 scrapbook page using the Mouthwatering Stamp set and Big Top DSP. The watermelons were stamped using Melon Mambo and Lucky Limeade markers, then punched out with our large 2 1/2" circle punch, sliced off the straight top and added seeds from the retired triple flower punch.  One of the slices has a bite taken out of it using the scallop circle punch. They are adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals on top of a 1 1/2" strip of yellow stripes from Big Top DSP.  I used my Cricut machine to die cut the word Summer in Lucky Limeade. Photo mat fits a 5 x 3 photo.
